TMS, HELPS WITH ICEHOUSE FOR WORLD ECONOMIC FORUM!

The Metal Shop was recently tasked with laser cutting this wonderful and innovative structure for McDonough Architects. The building is part of an exposition being held in Davos, Switzerland, at The World Economic Forum. We were tasked with laser cutting and forming all the aluminum used in the structure. Special recognition goes out to Michael Cousins Jr., our fantastic leader in the laser department. When others saiid "you can't cut 5/16" thick aluminum angle," Michael not only figured it out, but even cut it on shop air! That is Supreme Skill. Great work.

To be a part of a project that has the possible ramifications of this forward thinking design is something we are very proud of. To learn more about the designer and his company please click on this link. http://www.mcdonoughpartners.com/projects/icehouse/
